From the beginning of December to mid-April, the Dolomites present themselves in a magical winter wonderland. The villages of  Ortisei, S. Cristina, Selva  is nestled in the middle of this snowy winter paradise and offers active holidaymakers plenty of opportunities for sporting activities.

The Val Gardena/Alpe di Siusi ski area is part of Dolomiti Superski, which, with its 12 ski areas and a total of 1,200 kilometers of slopes, is probably the largest ski area in the world. With just one ski pass, you can enjoy the Sellaronda, the famous ski tour around the Sella massif (26 km) or the ski tour to the Marmolada.

The wide range of activities on offer, such as tobogganing on Raschötz, ice skating, snowshoeing or simply trudging through the snow-covered winter landscape, and moving through the deep snow while saving energy, breathing in the clear mountain air and enjoying the breathtaking views of the Langkofel or the Schlern from the fantastic pistes.

However, if you are a  skier or snowboarder, then you won’t be out of place here either, as the world-famous Superski Dolomiti ski carousel and the cross-country skiing paradise of the Alpe di Siusi, which is only a few kilometres away, also offer you plenty of opportunities.
